A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER
Greetings from the Romsey Recreation Centre.
I am excited to be back from my 12 month maternity leave position, and eager to get back to improving services, programs and facilities at the Romsey Recreation Centre.
We are excited to announce that he stadium floor is going to be completely replaced over the summer Christmas break. This job will take about 6 weeks to complete, and will cost Council approximately $90,000. We hope there will be little disruption to users, and will inform patrons of dates as they are confirmed.
I would like to welcome new staff member Jesse Grae. Jesse is running the junior basketball competition and is doing a great job in this role, with the basketball program attracting huge numbers of kids. We would also like to welcome Heather Daw to the cleaning staff. Heather will join Dot to assist in keeping the centre clean and safe for you all.
We are looking forward to a great second half of the year. If anyone has any suggestions or issues please contact me to discuss. I am available at the centre on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Macedon Ranges Squash Club run the squash competition at the Romsey Recreation Centre. This competition runs Tuesday night. An enjoyable social night out. Anyone interested in playing should contact Bill Hutcheson on 0488 348 898. Players of all abilities are welcome

We have paid positions available for soccer, netball and basketball referees.
SQUASH COURT HIRE
We have two squash courts available for casual and regular hire. Racquets & balls available from reception. Bookings are essential. For available times contact centre staff.
OCCASIONAL CARE
Rebecca Wilson is now taking enrolments for term 4 at the Romsey Occasion Care. Romsey Occasional Care is a fully licensed childcare program, operating out of the Romsey Recreation Centre. Rebecca’s Friday morning session includes a kids sport and fitness session and a music class. Great value for an amazing program.
